REVEREND SIMEON TSETIM IBER is a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Gboko in Benue State, Nigeria, and serves as the Rector, St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Makurdi. Previously, he served as pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle parish, Garden City, Michigan and in several parishes in Port Huron, Michigan, Archdiocese of Detroit. Rev. Simeon is passionately engaged in community service to support vulnerable Nigerian youths and women. To provide means to do this, he founded two non-profit organizations – the REVEREND SIMEON’S COMMUNITY SERVICE FUND located in Port Huron, Michigan and THE CENTRE located in Makurdi, Nigeria. He has recruited numerous leaders from Nigeria and the United States to partner in fundraising and as members of the board of directors.

The REV. SIMEON’S COMMUNITY SERVICE FUND provides funding to THE CENTRE in Nigeria to help provide educational services to at-risk low-income youth and women and provide potable water, sanitation, hygiene, and health education in Nigerian communities.

Rev. Simeon is a specialist in youth programs and social ethics and is a Civitas Scholar with the Center for Public Justice in Washington, D.C. He was coordinator of youth programs for five years with the Newman Center in Port Huron, Michigan where he was responsible for leadership training for young adults. .
