DESCRIPTION:Nutrition Intervention Guma\, Kwande&KonshishaLGAs \nDescription \nIn line with her commitment to see that vulnerable rural Nigerians in deprived communities live healthy lives\, CEDASJ in partnership with Christian Aid conducted a facility-based Nutrition/Health intervention with target on pregnant women and U5 children in Mbaiwen community of KwandeLGA\,and Tongo community of KonshishaLGA in Benue Sate. The total population of persons reached in the two Local Government Areas were 1\,515. A brief breakdown shows there were\, 159 pregnant women (102 from Kwande and 57 from Konshisha)\, 611 Under 5 males (380 from Kwande and 231 from Konshisha)\, and 745 Under 5 females (436 from Kwande and 309 from Konshisha) \n  \nThe same intervention was carried out in IDPs in GumaLGA of Benue State\, and it involves administering Vitamin A supplement and Albendazole to under-fives and pregnant women in two the major IDP camps in Daudu\, GumaLGA.A total of 13\,502 persons received these supplements.

DESCRIPTION:Description \nTriggering of 32 communities with 7% ODF status in Gwer West LGA through the CLTS approach with funding and support from United Purpose. The project increased community awareness on the danger of OD and increased a better sanitation and hygiene practice among people of TsambeMbasev ward by construction and use of toilets. 8 out of 32 communities were declared ODF. Over 350 persons were reach with sanitation and hygiene messages.
